Fountain Tire Merritt, is looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious associate to join our team as a Tire Technician( Service Truck). If you are looking for a place to build your career in the tire industry, Fountain Tire Merritt is the place for you!

Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, balance, and rotate passenger and light truck tires and wheels
- Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
- Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retreading, running flat, nitrogen, etc.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site, or field!
Working conditions:
- A team environment where hard work, concise communication, and clear heads are rewarded
- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 55lbs is required
- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
- This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling
Qualifications:
- We would like to find an experienced tire professional, however, we are willing to train the right candidate!
- A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
- Excellent customer service skills and a great attitude are essential
