Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Fabricate and assemble various pieces of equipment in all aspects of the industry
- Structural steel fabrication
- Work well in shop environment
- Operate overhead cranes
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Other Tasks as required by the Shop Manager
Qualifications:
- Journeyman metal fabricator preferred/apprentice considered
- Experience is also a tremendous asset and will be considered
- Ability to obtain FCAW/MCAW CWB tickets is an asset.
- Experience with machinery assembly, hydraulics, and pneumatics an asset
- General mechanical knowledge would also be beneficial.
