Seasonal/Full Time Cook - Contract length: 5 months

$20.00-$24.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a in the food industry. This position involves assisting in meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring food safety in a restaurant or kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

•  Assist in the preparation of meals according to recipes and portion sizes
•  Follow proper food handling and safety procedures -
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area -
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow -
• Help with inventory management and stock rotation - Adhere to all health and safety regulations - Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
• Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred
•  Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation -
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils -
• Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures -
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail -
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
