Looking For: Casual Cook

$ 21.85 per hour

Whether you have cooking experience or you are looking to enter the cooking profession, we are willing to work alongside you and provide training as you become a team member.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various techniques.
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
• Ensure great presentation of dishes before they are served.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Check quality of ingredients

This is a casual opportunity with possibility of part time to full time in the future.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Food Safe Certificate.
Current Criminal Record Check
Ability to function in a changing work environment that is resident focused.
