Looking for Par Time/ Seasonal Server/Bartender

$19–$22 an hour

We are seeking dedicated and customer-focused Servers to join our team. As a Server at Sagebrush Golf Club, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests in our casual fine dining Steak & Seafood House. Restaurant experience is preferred but not necessary! We will train. A passion for hospitality, providing an experience and enjoyment in working in a fast-paced environment is all you need!

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently while upholding service standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations

- Execute steps of service and uphold restaurant standards

- Engage with the guests and create a fun but refined dining experience

- Work as a team with all members on site, both on the floor and in the kitchen

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer or restaurant service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work either early mornings or evenings during weekends and holidays is preferred but we based on skill level we may be able to create a schedule that works for you!

Serving It Right (required)

Location: Sagebrush Golf Club - located on the 5a north of Merritt BC, there are no staff accommodations provided, you must have reliable transportation and make the commute

Skills:
- POS (Point of Sale) system proficiency
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with food service industry standards and practices preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members
- Strong hospitality skills to provide exceptional guest services

- Passion for providing guests with an experience
