The Douglas Lake Cattle Company is pleased to offer a full-time seasonal employment opportunity as a ranch camp cook at our Gang Ranch division. Live and work in one of the most beautiful locations in Canada.
$2,900–$3,000 a month
Job Duties & Responsibilities
? Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for 6+/- ranch employees at camp
? Ensure kitchen and eating area are clean and sanitized
? Determine food and supply needs
? Control and minimize waste
? Comply with safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications
? Must have valid Food Safe Certification
? Must have at least one (1) year cooking experience
? Strong working knowledge of food prep techniques, cooking methods and safety and sanitation practices
? Must have ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
? Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
? Must have valid Driver’s Licence
? Comfortable standing, stopping, squatting, twisting and moving frequently
