Ranch Camp Cook
The Douglas Lake Cattle Company is pleased to offer a full-time seasonal employment opportunity as a ranch camp cook at our Gang Ranch division. Live and work in one of the most beautiful locations in Canada.
$2,900–$3,000 a month
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for 6+/- ranch employees at camp
Ensure kitchen and eating area are clean and sanitized
Determine food and supply needs
Control and minimize waste
Comply with safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications
Must have valid Food Safe Certification
Must have at least one (1) year cooking experience
Strong working knowledge of food prep techniques, cooking methods and safety and sanitation practices
Must have ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
Must have valid Driver’s Licence
Comfortable standing, stopping, squatting, twisting and moving frequently
