About the Role
As Economic Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing Nooaitch’s Economic Development Plan and building partnerships that uplift our community. You will:
• Identify and pursue new business ventures
• Build and maintain strategic relationships
• Oversee market research and trends
• Represent Nooaitch at industry events and conferences
• Support capacity-building initiatives rooted in culture
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• Experience in economic or business development (First Nations focus is a strong asset)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in agriculture, tourism, or earthworks is a plus
• Cultural humility and a commitment to Indigenous-led development
