Wage: $30.58/hour | Employment Type: Full-time (Temporary) | Location: Dawson Civil, 2185 Voght Street, Merritt, BC

Dawson Civil is seeking an experienced Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA 3) to join our team. This position provides emergency response and first aid support to crews, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid services to personnel as required.
• Follow First Aid protocols from governing agencies.
• Provide first aid for workplace injuries or illnesses within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate WCB and first aid documentation.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow Health & Safety rules.
• Support crew operations and assist various trades when needed.

Qualifications:

• Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification (required).
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
• Experience in a construction environment.
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC Health & Safety requirements and incident investigation.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to maintain confidentiality.
