Position: Full-Time Program Coordinator

Location: Merritt, BC

Hours: 40 hours/week, including participation in on-call rotation

Salary: $71,000 per year to start

Summary:

Axis Family Resources Ltd. is recruiting a Full-Time Program Coordinator for our Specialized Supportive Housing in Merritt, BC. The Program Coordinator will manage the Specialized Supportive Housing for youth, adults in Community Inclusion, as well as provide direction to ensure that the goals and objectives of the organization are met. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will provide planning, coordination, administration of programs, and participate in the after-hours and on-call rotation. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for talent management such as participation in recruitment, performance management processes, supervision of staff, creation of staff schedules, and approval of time entry on IBEX system. The successful candidate will have the ability to adapt to changes, work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate professionalism and have a positive attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Supervisory Experience

A diploma in Community Services, Human Services, or other related discipline

At least 2 years’ related work experience; Direct program delivery experience in the community social services sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs and related provincial and community support is preferred

Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)

Effective written and verbal communication
