Looking for a full Time Injury Management Coordinator
$85,000 and $95,000
Position Overview
The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of coordination, program management, and administrative based tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the injury management program. This includes initial reporting, developing and implementing stay at work/return to work plans, through to full recovery or claim closure
- Communicate with employees, supervisors, and healthcare professionals
- Accurate monthly safety performance statistic reporting including key performance indicator and corrective action tracking; as well as site critical risk management reporting
- Management of all injury records in INX InControl reporting system; this includes report creation and records keeping
- Management of the site Musculoskeletal Disorder Recognition & Prevention program including facilitating/coordinating ergonomic requests and assessments
- Maintaining up to date records of all injury cases
- Management and oversight of WorkSafe BC Claims; ensuring all relevant provincial and federal legislation, worker’s compensation laws, Health and Safety Reclamation Code and site policies are followed.
- Educate employees and operational supervisors on injury management best practices
- Supporting Health & Safety team and department initiatives.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in a relevant field with Certified Return to Work Coordinator Certification or Certified Disability Management Professional designation
- Training / certification in Ergonomics is considered an asset
- Experience with software systems including but not limited to: InEight, SAP, Ariba, Concur, INX and SharePoint
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint Online
- 3 Years experience managing WorkSafe claims and stay at work/return to work coordination

Other Requirements
Candidates will be required to participate in a comprehensive qualification process, including:
- Successful completion of pre-placement functional screen
- Provide proof of a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada
- Provide confirmation of valid educational requirements
