Looking for Permanent, Full-time LCT(Lane Closure Technician) & TCP (Traffic Control Person)
$22.19–$30.00 an hour
BCW Traffic Management Ltd. is a leading traffic control company in BC looking for experienced Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) and TCPs in Merritt, B.C., who will work closely with management team in the pursuit of successful execution of projects and growth opportunities. This position reports to the Operations Manager of BCW Traffic Management Ltd.
Qualifications
· Arrive on time for work
· Be willing to work with others. Great communication skills
· Strong safety mind
· Participate in the daily toolbox meeting.
· Be always professional
· Represent BCW traffic management and perform your job to best of your ability.
· TCP certificate
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on highway as LCT.
· Familiarity with construction and traffic management drawings
- Strong written and spoken English
- Must have ability to multi-task and use sound judgment to prioritize activities
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to excel with limited supervision
- Out of the box thinker who is creative in problem solving to meet client needs
- Class 3 drivers license with air indorsement.
