Is looking for a Full Time Industrial Coach Driver
$37/ hour
As an Industrial Coach Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, following designated routes and schedules. You will ensure passenger safety and comfort, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times. Adherence to safety regulations and company policies is essential in this role
Your profile:
· You have a BC Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement.
· You have 2 years minimum experience industrial site driving.
· You have a clean driver's abstract.
· Clean drug and alcohol test.
Your role:
· Enjoy interacting with the public.
· Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanour.
· Drive various coach/buses or company non-revenue vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner within the assigned service area and schedule.
· Perform timely fueling of the bus as needed.
· Maintain effective communication with passengers, dispatchers, or fellow drivers via two-way radio systems.
· Report delays, mechanical issues, or accidents promptly.
· Complete and submit written reports regarding passengers, incidents, and accidents.
· Demonstrate vigilance in ensuring passenger safety during emergencies, including guiding evacuation procedures
· Uphold a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and clear communication
· Adhere to Transdev's standards, policies and procedures.
· Perform other responsibilities as requested or required
Your location:
· This is a non-unionized full-time position in Merritt and Kitimat.
· The role requires you to reside locally in one these areas.
· Camp is not provided for this role.
· Average schedule of 16 to 32 hours a week.
