Looking for a full time Education and Membership Support Coordinator

$30–$35 an hour

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting students and families with education funding applications, academic guidance, and transition planning
• Collaborating with SD58, schools, and external agencies to strengthen education services and deliver culturally relevant programming
• Advocating for students and families to ensure equitable access to education resources and supports
• Maintaining accurate membership records and updating information in compliance with ISC guidelines
• Processing status card applications and responding to member inquiries regarding registration
• Signing and upholding confidentiality agreements while securely managing membership records
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with community members, families, and external partners
• Working with the Community Wellness Manager to address funding challenges and maximize available resources
• Participating as an active member of the Community Wellness team and contributing to overall community initiatives

To qualify, you will need a diploma in education, social sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in education coordination, student advocacy, or membership services will also be essential. A driver's license and reliable vehicle is required.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Familiarity with ISC education programs, funding guidelines, and Indian Registry processes
• Experience working with First Nations communities and understanding of cultural protocols
• Strong communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills
• High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain secure digital and paper records
• Willingness to undergo a criminal record and vulnerable sector check
