About us
Bar S Ventures is a logging company located in Merritt, BC. We are hoping to find an experienced driver to start immediately. We pay on a bi-monthly basis via direct deposit. Our conventional logging operation consists of harvesting, building roads, low-bedding and hauling logs, a stump to dump contractor working for 2 mills.
Bar S Ventures is looking for an experienced Lowbed Truck Driver to join our team in the Merritt, BC area as soon as possible.

What You’ll Do:
- Class 1 Licence (required)
- Heavy Equipment Hauling: 1 year (required)
- Deliver equipment to various logging sites in the Interior of BC (mainly Merritt area).
- Follow routes and time schedules as setout by the logging supervisors.
- Drive safely and responsibly to avoid accidents and damage to the truck assigned to be in your care.
- Submit daily pre-trips / post-trips, delivery slips, etc.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Participate in Health & Safety Program.
- Identify safety hazards and communicate them to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Maintain the assigned truck to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain the assigned truck & trailer(s) (ie. wash, clean, grease)
- Inform Mechanics of any vehicle defects to ensure safety.
