Whether you have cooking experience or you are looking to enter the cooking profession, we are willing to work alongside you and provide training as you become a team member 

Responsibilities 

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment 
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc) 
• Cook food in various techniques 
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn 
• Ensure great presentation of dishes before they are served 
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen 
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly 
• Check the quality of ingredients 
• Able to multitask in a sometimes fast paced environment 
• Team player 
• Communicate effectively with team members 

Qualifications 

• High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience 
• food safe certificate 
• Current criminal record check 
• Ability to function in a changing work environment that is resident focused
