Looking for a Full Time Communications Team Leader

$42.90–$46.84 an hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with Indigenous communities and a strong understanding of n?e?kepmx and syilx cultural values, protocols, and traditional approaches
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, including experience coordinating office operations, managing documentation, and maintaining efficient filing systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new platforms quickly
• Clear Criminal Record check and Ministry of Children and Family Development Prior Contact Check required before commencement of employment.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license without restrictions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in communications or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three years of progressive experience in communications and events
• Minimum of one year of experience working with Indigenous communities
• Demonstrated knowledge of communication tools such as MS Office, Adobe, Canva, MailChimp, social media platforms, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge and professional and personal practice of n?e?kepmx and syilx traditional values, cultural practice, and protocols is an asset
