Tasks
- Deliver a warm, polished, and engaging welcome to every guest, creating an immediate sense of arrival and hospitality
- Actively engage with guests during warm-up answering questions and offering guidance with confidence and enthusiasm
- Provide clear, concise, information about course conditions and daily set-up, pace-of-play expectations, on-course amenities and facilities, signature sagebrush highlights that elevate the experience
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns before they become issues, making every golfer feel like a VIP
Organization, Flow & Timelines
- Manage the flow through the warm-up areas and first tee ensuring all groups arrive prepared and on time
- Deliver a brief but impactful first-tee introduction, balancing efficiency with meaningful guest interaction
- Maintain accurate, detailed notes on the tee sheet, communicating important guests or group details to the rest of the team
- Monitor pace of play at the start of the round and support established procedures to keep play flowing smoothly
- Maintain immaculate presentation of the first tee, podium, practice areas, and hitting nets at all times
- Assist with event signage, course set-up, and special requests as needed
- Ensure the first tee environment reflects sagebrush’s commitment to premium presentation and attention to detail
- Work closely with the golf professionals, golf lounge team, and fellow operations staff to ensure seamless guest transitions
- Support tournaments and special events through setup, breakdown, and guest coordination
- Be an active, reliable contributor to the daily success of golf operations from the first tee-time to last

Qualifications
- Previous experience in golf operations, hospitality, retail, or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with golf course operations is an asset, but training will be provided
- Strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to remain calm, positive, and guest-focused during peak times
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as required
- Overtime may be required
- Must pass a background check
