Is looking for a Food and Beverage server
$27.00 an hour
Tasks
- Must be of legal age (19+) to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
- Adress customers’ complaints or concerns
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, traveler’s cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Advise on menu selections
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Describe and advise on wine selection
- Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Serve food and Beverages
- Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Provide customer service
Skills and qualifications
- Serving It Right Certificate
- Knowledge of Point Of Sale (POS) system
- Bending, Crouching and Kneeling
- Fast-paced environment
- Physically demanding
- Standing for extended periods
- Working under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 9kg (20lbs.)
