Is looking for a Full-time Mobile Crane Operator
$35.00-$51.21 an hour
Duties
- Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites
- Coordinate with site managers and other crew members to execute lifting plans safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of crane equipment to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of crane components, including stabilizers and outriggers
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities, inspections, and maintenance tasks
- Support other heavy machinery operations such as dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and dump trucks as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries during operations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project progress
Requirements
- Proven experience operating mobile cranes in a construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery, concrete mixers, front loader trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, tankers, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators and cranes
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for operating associated vehicles like front loader trucks or dump trucks
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures
- Ability to perform routine maintenance check on crane equipment
- Strong understanding of construction processes and equipment operation including familiarity with Caterpillar machinery
- Physical ability to handle demanding work conditions including lifting heavy loads and working at heights when necessary
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced heavy equipment operators looking to contribute their skills to dynamic construction projects while ensuring safety and efficiency on site
