Is looking for a Quality Control Coordinator

$35.00-$45.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive quality control plan specific to earthworks
• Conduct on-site inspections of all phases, compaction tests (e.g. proctor and nuclear density), and material quality
• Manage and maintain all project documentation, including daily reports, test results, and non-conformance reports
• Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and engineers to address any quality issues immediately
• Ensure all work complies with engineering drawings, local regulations, and safety protocols
• Train and guide field crews on proper quality control procedures and standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Coordinator, Inspector, or a similar role on an earthworks or civil construction project
• Strong understanding of earthmoving equipment, soil mechanics, and compaction methods
• Familiarity with relevant testing procedures and equipment (e.g. nuclear densometer)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions on-site
• Strong communication skill to effectively interact with a variety of team members, from labourers to engineers
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites
• Certification such as NICET, ICC, or ACI are an asset
