Is looking for a Pharmacist
$75.00 per hour
Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join our team at Pharmasave in Merritt, BC.
Patient Focused Client Care:
- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development
- Administer vaccines and immunizations
- Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
- Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
- Supervise pharmacy students in provisional pharmacist in performing restricted activities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with British Columbia Collage of Pharmacists
- Injection certification is required
- Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) certification is required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment
