The restaurant business is all about people. Here at our Merritt location, we are looking for smiling faces with the right blend of smarts and personality to join our team. Currently we are looking for Kitchen Helpers! Mr. Mikes is committed to creating a casual dining experience with attentive service and “mike-sized” meals for our guests. But we can’t do it alone. It takes people like you with energy and a positive attitude to make Mr. Mikes one the preferred places to work. At Mr. Mikes we aspire to not only deliver lasting memories to our guests but also to our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Follow and adhere to Mr. Mikes guidelines and standards
• Clean work area, counters, appliances, dishes, flatware, pots / pans, utensils
• Wash peel and cut vegetables / fruit
• Stock food, fill supplies, sweep / mop floor, remove garbage
• Assist fellow co-workers as required

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Merritt, BC
• Secondary education is preferred
• 1 year of cooking experience
• Food Safe Certification, Food Handler Certificate or equivalent
