Is looking for a Hot Meals Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hot Meals Cook to prepare and serve nutritious, delicious, hot meals in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a team focused on providing quality meal options to our community or organization.

Duties:

• Baking
• Preparing and serving meals
• Planning weekly menu’s and doing weekly shopping
• Operating kitchen equipment and dishwasher
• Monitoring, restocking and maintaining supplies
• Maintain a positive rapport with students, staff and supervisors

Qualifications:

• Food safe level 1
• Knowledge of inventory
• Valid driver’s license and current drivers abstract
• Ability to use judgement in applying clearly prescribed methods and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy and tact in the routine exchange of information
