Looking for a Permanent Lane Closure Technician (LCT)

$25–$28 an hour

Community Traffic Control Ltd. is looking for experienced Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) to join our growing team!

We are seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals who take pride in their work and have experience with highway traffic control operations.

Our work includes a variety of projects, including:

• Planned construction and maintenance projects
• Emergency highway call-outs
• Highway lane and shoulder closures
• Short-term and long-term traffic management operations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid BC Traffic Control Person (TCP) Certification – Required
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence – Required
• Previous experience as a Lane Closure Technician (LCT) is strongly preferred.
• Experience with highway traffic control setups, signage requirements, and the BC Traffic Management Manual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and road conditions.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
