Office Manager/ Dental Receptionist

This is a permanent part-time position, working 3 days a week- comprised of one day a week as Office Manager and two days a week as part of our reception team.  

As Office Manager- one day a week- you will be responsible for:

  • Payroll
  • Year-end paperwork including government remittances, assembling data for accountant, etc
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Ordering and Purchasing of all non-dental office supplies
  • HR- including posting jobs, recruiting, interviewing and screening applicants, wage and benefit discussions, scheduling, submitting ROEs, and sundry other duties
  • Planning office events
  • Arranging for all office maintenance issues (cleaners, repairs, IT, etc)
  • Ensuring COVID19 protocols are updated and communicated to staff
  • Generally, the smooth running of the clinic

As Dental Receptionist- two to three days a week- you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting and checking in patients
  • Answering incoming phone calls and booking appointments
  • Processing patient payments and billing insurance
  • Accounts receivable
  • Nightly cash out and closing paperwork
  • Prepping patient charts for upcoming appointments
  • Filing and general office duties
  • Other duties as assigned


This position requires an outgoing, friendly personality, extremely strong organizational abilities, an acute attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, excellent computer skills, and experience managing a team.   Our ideal candidate has dental office experience, but we are willing to train the right applicant.  Accounting experience is also a major asset.
