Responsibilities:
- Welding and cutting tasks on a variety of projects and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, construction and shop drawings
- Understanding and knowledge of all shop equipment; such as overhead cranes, band saws, sanders, rollers, hydraulic presses, and fork lifts
- Use of plasma cutters, oxy acetylene torches, gouging and other cutting equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Welder certification is preferred; apprenticeship will be considered
- Fabricating would be considered an asset
- Field/Shop experience an asset
