Pay: $4,000–$4,200 per month | Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Live and work in one of Canada’s most iconic ranching locations! Douglas Lake Cattle Company, Canada’s largest working cattle ranch with over 130 years of history, is seeking an experienced Cowboy Foreman to join our team at the historic Gang Ranch.

About the Role
As Cowboy Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day care and movement of cattle, supervising a small crew, and maintaining ranch operations. This is a hands-on position for someone with strong horsemanship skills and proven ranch experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Cattle management, movement, and general herd care
• Horse care and daily handling
• Fencing and ranch maintenance
• Supervising a crew of approximately 4 people

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of riding and cattle experience
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with heavy trailer endorsement
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Comfortable with outdoor, hands-on ranch work
