Looking for a Full Time Plumber Helper

$21.00–$29.93 an hour

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Plumber Helper to assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in construction plumbing and related trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and basic mechanical skills. Prior construction site experience and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are highly desirable. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment focused on building and remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete tasks accurately
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
• Measure and cut pipes using appropriate tools while adhering to safety standards
• Support in remodeling, assembly, and general maintenance tasks on construction sites
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
• Assist with troubleshooting plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion

Skills

• Construction site experience with exposure to plumbing or related trades
• Knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and pipe threading processes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with welding, HVAC systems, carpentry, and handyman tasks is a plus
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems and field service operations
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
