Scandal Translation Services Ltd. Offers trusted and high-quality interpretation and translation services across Canada. We focus on legal, medical, and private settings. Right now, we are looking to grow our team of in-person interpreters in BC

Languages needed

• Georgian          Khmer   
• Arabic              Tasmasheq
• Punjabi             Low German   
• Zulu                  Taishanese
• Hmong             Hakka
• Hausa               Vietnamese   
• Nuer                 Dinka

All other languages and dialects are welcome as well! If you enjoy helping others through language, this may be a great fit for you

What you’ll do

• Interpret in person at medical, legal, or community settings
• Make sure your interpretations are clear and accurate
• Be reliable and professional at every assignment
• Travel to job sites using your own car or public transit

What you’ll need

• You must speak English and one of the languages listed above
• You must live in BC
• You need to be at least 18 years old
• You must be legally allowed to work in Canada
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Interpreter training or certification is a big plus
• You should know common terms used in hospitals and courts
• Experience with medical or legal interpretation is helpful
• You need to be available weekdays between 8AM and 5 PM
