Is looking for a Steel Stud Framer

$25.00-$39.00 an hour

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings using steel studs, ensuring precision and safety throughout the process. Your expertise will help bring  architectural visions to life by creating durable, accurate, and high-quality wall structures. This position offers an exciting new opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial to residential developments, contributing to the foundation of impressive structures.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately frame walls and partitions with steel studs
• Measure, cut, and assemble steel framing components using hand tools and power tools with precision
• Install, drywall, siding, and other fishing materials to complete wall systems
• Operate heavy equipment and tools necessary for steel framing, including welding equipment when required
• Collaborate with carpenters, concrete workers, and other trades to ensure seamless project progression
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and properly handling heavy lifting tasks
• Assist in restoration projects by removing old framing and preparing surfaces for new installations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or steel framing with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding apparatus safely and effectively
• Knowledge of drywall installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and siding applications is highly desirable
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
• Familiarity with woodworking techniques and concrete finishing processes will be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills for interpreting technical drawings
• Valid construction experience or related certifications preferred; a Proactive attitude toward safety is essential
