Looking for Full Time Education Assistant

Start $ 20.48 - $ 31.45

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Education Assistant Certification preferred, but not necessarily Valid BC Class 5 driver's license with clean driver's abstract
• Experience working with school age children in a classroom setting Experience assisting in multi-graded classrooms an asset
• Food Safe Certificate
• First Aid Certificate (or be willing to get)
• Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy and tact in the routine exchange of information

Preference will be given to those applicants who:

• have a minimum of two years' experience
• have Aboriginal ancestry (as per Special Program with the BC Human Rights Tribunal

• Copy of valid driver's license and current driver's abstract
