Jmar Excavating is seeking a hardworking and motivated General Labourer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction experience who enjoys working outdoors, performing hands-on work, and learning new skills in the excavation and heavy equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labour and physical work on construction and excavation sites
- Assist equipment operators and crew members as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Support various site preparation and construction activities
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop machine operating skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical and manual labour in various weather conditions
- Strong interest in learning machine operation
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable vehicle required
- Ability to commute to or relocate to Merritt, BC before starting work preferred
