Is looking for a Refinish Technician
$33.00 an hour
CSN Merritt is looking for a well-rounded Refinish Technician to join their repair team. In this flat rate pay position you will focus primarily on all aspects required to support the paint department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a licenses Refinish Technician
- Journeyperson or Red Seal certification is an asset
- Strong understanding of management system and shop procedures
- Strong knowledge of prepping / painting
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Health and Safety programs and participate in Health and Safety meetings to ensure the shop is in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
- Preparing vehicles and vehicle parts for painting
- Masking and sanding of vehicles and parts prior to painting
- Buffing, wet sanding and polishing of painted vehicles
- Attend all daily and/or weekly production meetings
- General shop clean up and any other duties as required from your Location Manager
