Is looking for a Part-time Paint Associate  

$18.25 an hour

What you’ll be doing:

• Create great first impressions & expert advice: Greet every customer within 30 seconds, offering professional color-matching expertise and specific paint product selection advice
• Project problem solving: Determine customers’ needs by asking open-ended questions, helping them find all the tools, paint, and accessories needed to complete their projects
• Merchandising & Inventory: Create attractive in-store displays, restock shelves, build special promotional signage, and keep the paint counter and aisles neat and organized
• Orders & Fulfillment: Assist customers in locating items in-store or online, process special orders for non-stock items, and safely mmix and prepare paint according to instructions
• Team support: Promote Home’s Paint Loyalty Card, fill in as a cashier when necessary, and assist with receiving and checking incoming truck shipments

Ideal candidate has:

• A passion for excellence in customer service and specialized paint/décor advice
• Sharp attention to detail for mixing paint, adjusting prices, and checking invoices
• A strong commitment to safety regulations and taking appropriate precautions when handling products
• The physical ability to help unload trucks and assist customers with carrying out large or heavy items
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends, required by the department
